Annual Career Expo 2010 opens in Bahrain
A three-day Annual Career Expo 2010, organized by the National Society, aimed to support jobseekers, vocational students, parents and community, education and training will be held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center today.
The Event Chairman, Abdul Elah Al Qassimi mentioned that the event is an effort to raise awareness to Bahraini jobseekers and students about the work environment and professional world.
It also helps in the job search process, promoting careers in several fields and offers information on various occupations, education and vocational training required to enter them and professional skills and abilities, he said.
According to Al Qassimi, there will be career guidance activities, seminars, workshops and forums targeting jobseekers and students. The expo will open from 8.30am to 1pm during the first two days for girls and women, while the third day is reserved for men and boys.
The show is open to general public on all three days from 4pm to 8pm.
