Held under the patronage of Minister of Education, the higher education summit will bring to Bahrain, policymakers, university leaders and other leading academics who would help in globally improving education, with particular focus on skill development, technological change and innovation.

The conference will also serve as a windfall for the economy of Bahrain, as the delegates would spend on hotels and entertainment.

According to Prof. Riyad Hamzah, this Conference brings about the higher education community across the globe, to Bahrain, and in majority of the cases, for the first time, and every delegate will surely have a positive experience of Bahrain.

The University of Bahrain will host the Conference dinner on the campus, and the university is expected to benefit from an increasingly international profile, and it is the opportunity for the world to get introduced to the university and interact with students who support the event, the professor said.

The University of Bahrain, as a strategic partner of the conference will also submit several papers, with Prof. Hamzah delivering one of the keynote speeches.
