Bahrain Food Festival 2018 proves highly successful

The third edition of Bahrain Food Festival has so far drawn more than 80,000 visitors ever-since it opened doors to the public on 22nd February, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) announced.

The festival is now in its third edition and will run until 10th March 2018, serving as the ideal platform for participating Bahraini businesses to showcase their concepts.

The festival saw the participation of more than 70 outlets this year, including cafes, businesses, restaurants, nutrition, culinary equipment and more. The festival offers visitors varied cuisines including Indian, Asian, Western, Middle Eastern, Organic and Healthy.

Speaking on this, the Chief Executive Officer of BTEA, Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa, mentioned that the festival serves as the ideal platform for local talents to exhibit their concepts. BTEA will continue to offer excellent support services for development of projects in Bahrain, further strengthening the position of the Kingdom, among other countries in the region.

The Bahrain Food Festival also offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy some interesting family entertainment like cookery shows, musical shows among other fun activities.

This event form part of BTEA’s long-term strategy to develop the tourism sector in the region and at the international level under the slogan ‘Ours Yours’, contributing to the economy and Economic Vision 2030.
