Iconic café relocated to Bab Al Bahrain

One of the iconic cafes in Bahrain has relocated near Bab Al Bahrain. The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed Al Zayani has unveiled the new-look Abdul Qadir Café, following its relocation from decades-old premises in Manama Suq.

The minister congratulated the owners on quick re-opening of popular café at its new location near Bab Al Bahrain. He also appreciated all those who contributed to the quick reopening of Abdul Qadir Café, particularly citing, The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and the Kanoo family.

Al Zayini appreciated the role of Mahmoud Al Namliti, the Chairman of National Committee for Development of Old Manama Market, for his follow-up andeagerness of helping owners of the café and exerting efforts to conserve such heritage and trade facilities in old Manama Suq.

He also emphasized the keenness of the Government, Ministry and BTEA to support all tourism, trade and heritage facilities that contribute towards strengthening Bahrain’s business ties.
