Bahrain voted as the friendliest expat location
According to findings of a recent survey, Bahrain has been voted as one of the best locations for expatriates in the world.
The results of the independent Expat Experience Poll, commissioned by HSBC Bank International has revealed that Bahrain is one of the friendliest Expat locations, with the fifth place in best quality of life worldwide and best social life.
Bahrain has been voted as one of the best locations in the world to live and is the best choice in the Middle East and Africa region in the world’s largest global survey of expatriates.
Bahrain has adopted a long-term strategy of economic diversification, which, together with ideal economic growth rates enjoyed by the Gulf and Middle East and North Africa region (MENA), holds great opportunities for international businesses.
According to one of the top officials at the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), the Board has the overall responsibility to create the right environment to attract foreign investment. This has created an attractive business environment for international companies looking to access the trillion-dollar market of the Gulf.
The Chief Operating Officer at the EDB, Kamal Ahmed, said that this commitment continues to create wonderful opportunities for both Bahrainis and expatriates alike.
