Hoora Park unveiled to public
The BD60,000 worth Hoora Park will be officially unveiled today to coincide with the National Day celebrations in the Kingdom.
The park, spreading across 500sqm in block 318 in Hoora, will feature greeneries, resting areas and playground.
The Capital Municipal Council Chairman, Tariq Al Shaikh said that the park was created to benefit the community, and thanked Municipalities and Agriculture Minister Juma Al Ka’abi for ensuring speedy work on the park, when work re-started following a gap of two years.
The park is located in a residential location so that it could help families to relax and unwind. The council aims to establish several parks in different localities, which will offer an opportunity for citizens to relax, said Al Shaikh, and added that there are several projects planned for future in the area, including model playgrounds, youth center and health clubs, the designs of which are underway and will be announced shortly.
