New Prince Khalifa Garden in Riffa to be unveiled by April 2011
About 90percent of construction work on the new Prince Khalifa Garden in Riffa has been completed, and the garden will open to public by April 2011.
The Municipal Council member, Abdul Razaq HAttab has affirmed that large majority of works on the garden has been completed and the garden will be one of the largest in the Kingdom.
Speaking during a visit to the project site recently, Hattab said that the BD4.7mn garden spreads across 80,000 square feet area and is equipped with several educational and entertainment amenities for children.
The Councillor said that the place has the capacity to accommodate about 170 cars and is built adjacent to the garden. The project also includes a multi-use court, a football stadium, a one-kilometer stretching promenade and several seating and play areas.
